As part of the informal grouping of structures at Saltmeadows, the studio provides individual work spaces for writing and painting. Each space, linked by a glass enclosed sitting area, is specifically designed to suit the purpose and personality of its function. Large folding doors or windows allow both studios to be opened wide, transforming them into porch-like rooms during warm months. Roofs cap and embrace, angled to the light and best views of the tidal marsh. Similar shapes and consistent materials with the main house connect this structure to the larger ensemble.
