Committed to staying in their neighborhood, this family chose to construct a new urban house. Our design for the compact dwelling makes the most of a narrow lot, both inside and out. Open living on the first floor creates inviting gathering rooms. Carefully considered bedrooms, efficient bathrooms, and effective storage provide individual privacy and comfort. Amenities such as the stair landing “library” and the “family” bathroom add elements of delight. Because of its compact footprint, there is room outside for a terrace and play yard. A private roof deck, off the master suite, offers a new vantage point to enjoy the neighborhood.
